If you opt for the so-called combined method, which involves pushing back the cuticles as much as possible and slipping a layer of polish under them, you can enjoy neat nails for much longer. A lot also depends on the color. Light colors look better longer, and the regrowth is less visible. However, if you opt for red, navy blue or another strong shade, you have to expect that even after 2 weeks there will be a visible space in the color of the natural nail.
If you’re looking to save money, it’s worthwhile to look into buying the equipment at home. Then you will buy a whole set at one time, which includes polishers, files, as well as a special curing lamp. In addition to this, you will need to buy degreasing preparations and tools for removing cuticles, as well as a suitable polish and primer. However, you can find very interesting promotions and purchase the whole thing for about 300 PLN.
If you have manual skills or decide to take a basic hybrid manicure course, you can do it at home. Once you have purchased the right equipment, all you need to do is replenish your supplies from time to time and buy more varnishes and embellishments. This will certainly save you a lot of money. However, it is worth mentioning that the process of doing manicures yourself requires practice. Even after a few attempts, it definitely takes more time than a standard visit to a salon. As a rule, we spend from an hour to an hour and a half at the beautician’s, while at home it can take even more than 2 hours! Therefore, it is worth considering what we care more about.
You can also use a hybrid lamp only occasionally and have it on standby. It will also work wonderfully for pedicures, which are more expensive than manicures. It will be excellent to use the lamp for just this purpose. Foot treatments are performed less frequently, even every one and a half to two months. Then it is worthwhile to perform it at home and save additional resources.
Buying a hybrid lamp is therefore a good investment, of course, if you are sure to use it. It should also be mentioned that there are different sizes of this equipment. For home use, miniature versions are best, which you can easily hide in a cabinet and which are powerful enough to successfully fix hybrid varnish.
