Turmeric contains a compound called curcumin that boosts the immune system. In addition, it is famous for its anti-inflammatory properties. To make a delicious tea, prepare: fresh turmeric (1 tsp or 2 teaspoons of turmeric powder), lemon juice (1 tsp), unpasteurized honey to taste and 4 cups of water. Grate fresh turmeric and then boil it with water for 15-20 minutes. Drain and serve warm with lemon and honey.

Smoothie with watermelon, mint and lemon

Watermelon is a great immunity booster thanks to its high lycopene content. This substance gives it its characteristic bright red color. What is important, it is a strong antioxidant, which effectively fights germs. Watermelon consists of 92% water, which makes it perfect for hydrating the body

To prepare a delicious, healthy smoothie, you need: 2 cups of watermelon slices (without seeds), 10-12 mint leaves, 1 teaspoon of cumin powder, 1 teaspoon of sugar or honey, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of chia seeds and 1 teaspoon of salt. Add the mint leaves and watermelon chunks to the blender and blend thoroughly. Now pour in the cumin seeds, sugar and salt. Also add lemon juice and ice cubes and blend again. Pour the smoothie into a glass and sprinkle chia seeds on it. If you like, add half a glass of natural yogurt to it. It is an excellent probiotic that stimulates the digestive system.
