What materials to choose bathroom fixtures from?

When renovating a bathroom and replacing sanitary equipment, you have to face the choice of materials from which the bathroom equipment is to be made. Ceramic fixtures

Ceramics is the most popular and widely present material in the bathrooms of Poles. A more modern solution for the bathroom is equipment made of plastic. A bathtub or sink made in acrylic or quartz is much more durable than ceramic, as these materials are impact-resistant. Like ceramic, synthetics are easy to clean and don’t require special products and are quite resistant to abrasion.

However, if you choose a high-gloss finish, you need to be careful about what you clean these surfaces with. Paper kitchen towels can scratch the glossy finish and lead to tarnishing and faster damage. Chipboard and veneer fittings

Another cheap, but not the best solution is bathroom furniture made of particle board covered with veneer. Very often such sets already with a sink recessed into them are sold in stores. Apart from the sink, the furniture consists of a countertop and usually a cabinet or a few drawers. This is indeed a functional solution. However, the problem is that plywood in contact with water and moisture begins to swell, crack and burst the veneer. Such equipment is unfortunately the least durable and will quickly require replacement

Unfortunately, such a solution, although tempting in terms of price and functionality, may turn out to be a waste of money, which will have to be spent again on dismantling the sink and buying new equipment.

Decorating a bathroom can be a pleasure, but it can also turn out to be a nightmare. It all depends on how you plan the work and what equipment for the bathroom you choose.
