Lavender oil neutralizes bacteria that lead to various skin irritations and infections. It is also worth having eucalyptus oil at home which has an antibacterial and antiviral effect.

If you already know the properties of particular essential oils, you can choose the one with the help of which you will make fragrant water for ironing. To prepare a homemade spray we need:

• 250 ml of water,
• 5-10 drops of chosen essential oil,
• 20 ml of alcohol (can be vodka),
• a bottle with an atomizer.

Making water for ironing is not complicated and does not take much time. Pour alcohol into the bottle and add a few drops of the selected essential oil. The number of drops depends on how intense a scent you want to achieve. For the iron spray, it is best to choose oils from:

After mixing alcohol and oil in the bottle, add water and shake. The spray is immediately ready for use.
